The manager of Leicester City, Brendan Rodgers has spoken for the first time about the rumour linking Wesley Fofana to Chelsea.

The foxes defender has been linked to the Stamford Bridge club following their failure to sign Jules Kounde from Sevilla. Rodgers was speaking in an interview heading into the Premier League season which starts on Friday, August 5th, 2022.
Chelsea have been busy in the transfer window as they have been trying to replace Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen who joined Real Madrid and Barcelona on a free transfer. The only defender the Blues have signed this transfer window is Kalidou Koulibaly from Serie A club, Napoli.
Transfer News expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Chelsea will continue to pursue the signing of Fofana until the end of the transfer window.
